Triple A Women
By Grace Collins-Thomason
Approved – Appointed – Anointed
As triple ‘A’ women we have a job to do. We are approved and appointed by the Lord and anointed to carry out this job according to the will of God. As women we know and recognize the call to help pray and see God heal other hurting women. We are called and chosen by the Lord and desire to be obedient to carry out the job until it is accomplished.
Example is to pray without ceasing – 1 Thess. 5:17. We desire to humble ourselves and pray, seek God’s face and He will hear from heaven and heal our land. 2 Chron 7:14. He will meet our needs as we pray one for another. As we live a holy life of awareness, growth and gratitude for God’s grace and mercy, our lives will bring glory to His name. He says in PS 102:17, He shall regard our prayers and not despise them. Matt. 21:22, whatever we ask in prayer believing we shall receive. We must believe and we will receive answers as we obey.
1. Approved: We have been received and accepted, just as we are, and called into a place of increase in our life. We are accepted by the fact that He loved us first and this great Love makes a way of approval through Jesus Christ. We have been approved, with a favorable and official agreement -- sanctified, set apart, to answer His call. Conferring a place of superiority - a condition above all circumstances that will have the desired end according to God’s good pleasure. Approval which gives to us benefits beyond the natural way of man. Approved with an ability given by Him. Accepted and approved by God and man. One who serves in prayer and deed shows this great acceptance and is heard by God. Romans 14:17-18 says: For the Kingdom of God is not eating or drinking but righteousness, and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved of men.
2. Appointed: When we have been appointed a new job or position, we often find ourselves in a place where we are required to increase in knowledge—which then leads to new experiences, and culminates in true wisdom. When we are appointed to fulfill the purpose of God we enter into the process of revealing His grace within the purpose of that call. WE SHOW FORTH THE GLORY OF GOD AS WE GO THROUGH. This is the revelation of our appointment. Even as the Apostle Paul revealed to the gentiles this great mystery through his sufferings. God has seen fit to assign us this position, combined with time and obedience, to carry out His purposes on the earth. 2 Tim.1:8-10, 12, says: Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, His prisoner. But share with me the suffering for the gospel, according to the power of God, who has called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus. V12 -- For this reason I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed unto Him until that day. We are assigned a job to pray and fight as warriors, standing true and worthy to see the the accomplished end. And example of a job assigned is a cargo ship -- equipped to carry cargo to a destined place, and arrive on time. As we, His appointed warriors, selected by God, set aside time to pray, combined with being approved and appointed, or well fitted, we find ourselves more than able to carry out our position in Him. We will see results – for as we BELIEVE we will receive.
3. Anointed: We as Triple ‘A’ Women are anointed with the Oil of Gladness from the Holy Spirit. Ps.105:43 says: He brought out His people with joy, His chosen ones with gladness. Isa.61:1-3 says in part: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me … He has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prisons to those who are bound… to comfort all that mourn… to give them beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness… that He may be glorified. We receive this anointing as a crowning of His sovereign call. We carry out our job under this anointing, which allows us to see the blessings of obedience appear in our midst. Even as the disciples, who did were anointed and appointed by the Holy Spirit and saw signs, wonders, miracles in their lives. The disciples obeyed Jesus and learned to stay prepared at all times. As a servant and disciple, we can be assured that the Father will bestow the same blessings of His anointing power on us to carry out His purposes. In Matt.26:19, the disciples did as Jesus had directed them to do and prepared for the Passover, thus making the way straight for the greatest sacrificial gift known to man, the gift of God’s lamb, Jesus, the Christ. Though they did not know the depth of what they were doing, the blessings that came from their obedience is still an example for us today.
Because of God’s approval, and His appointment, we receive His anointing – which allows us to carry out His good pleasure. It is His good pleasure to give His people the Kingdom. His anointing enables us to bring all those who will hear and receive into a place of awareness – the awareness of His never-ending love and bountiful blessings.
We truly are "Triple 'A' Women"!
