The Promise of Christmas That Shines Forward...

Let's SHINE in the New Year!
The weekend before Christmas and I have stepped out of the hustle,
bustle and rush, rush of the season to reflect. Reflect on a year
of many unexpected ups and downs where God has shown me that, indeed,
in life we will have problems, trials and even moments of great crisis.
It seems there is always a problem to take the place of the one we just
solved and yet God is faithful to bring us through every one of them -
through everything!
I have had to learn to trust Him more with each step I have taken
this year -- and to step out and believe at a totally new level -
like never before, in a way I was not enabled to do until this time
and this place.
I have learned about being more real -- and more willing
to say "yes, Lord!" when He needs a vessel to flow through,
no matter where or when.
And now he is asking as the new year is fast approaching, will you
unleash the talents, the abilities,
the gifts I have blessed you with?
Will you let the YOU I created shine through for all the world to
see?
He has shown many examples this year of people who have
let their talents and passions finally breakthrough their fears -
and He is asking will you now step out
of that box and
let Him shine through you to bring glory to the Father.
Will you allow Him to bring encouragement, motivation, inspiration
and hope to others?
Each of us has a talent, a special ability that God has given us
to use to bring joy and the hope of Jesus to others. Will we allow
it to shine?
Will we give ourselves permission to step out
of the box and let the Lord flow through us in amazing ways in 2008?
What wonders do we hold at bay when we delay this flow in our life?
Let us all allow the YOU He created in each of us to SHINE brightly
for all the world to see.
And we shall surely have a Happy New Year!
