A High-Level Squeeze Play

Ephesians 6:12 - 13: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
I heard it loud and clear, within my inner being, It is a high-level squeeze play.
This answer was for the questions that had seemed to bombard my brain for the last week,
as one thing after another tried to knock us out of the game. The seemingly endless lists of
problems and distractions, one after another, seemed to be aimed at our hope of the better
things we were believing for things we felt in our heart that the Lord had said were coming.
The future and hope promised in Jeremiah 29:11.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD,
plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
As I focused on this word I received, I begin to see a diagram. It was
like a passage way containing a flow. And as it rose into the higher places,
where the fulfillment lies, a force began to squeeze in on the passageway
trying to reverse the flow to the old pathway, leading down into the lower
places where it had always run, at the level of old habits.
As I watched this play out before me, I became aware of a concept that I was
being shown. As in the birth of a child, the pressure is causing life to
come IF YOU KEEP GOING if you keep keeping on. The very pressure that
seems to be against you is actually increasing your stamina and strength your
endurance level. You are gaining ground even when it seems to be in a stall.
As I watched this high-level squeeze play happening before my awareness, I saw the
force that was clamping down on the passageway begin to lose the ability to maintain
itself. The ability to sustain it's grip began to lessen. And as I watched, the flow
of the goodness, leading higher into the new level of life, begin to increase, little
by little, until the whole path was open and clear.
My frustrations, distractions, irritations could only get in the way if I decided to
stop and enter into them. I could choose to know that something is going on something
bigger something that is more than I know.
Am I willing to stand and see? Am I willing
to wait for the power to work on my behalf? Am I willing to wait for the wind in the
mulberry bushes to show me that the Spirit of the Lord is working on my behalf?
(2 Samuel 5:24)
All resistance is there to reveal the place where change is happening. And change in our
life is required if increase is to be ours.
Can we really expect anything new if we don't agree with the call to grow and change?
Changes require the embrace of the turn, actually moving into the new information, entering
into the in-forming process of the shaping of our inner man into the real person we were
meant to be. The newness of life being allowed to enter and enliven us at a level we have
never known or experienced the new revelations, new directions, new hope - active within
us so we can become. Become all that we were meant to be.
