Testimony from: Sheila - Thankful Thursday
I am thankful today for God's tender care, for He knows how weak my DUSTY self can be. He never fails to whisper a keeping word to my heart so I do not despair... lifting my head and pointing to the promised end just ahead...whether health, needs met, loved ones kept, ALWAYS true to His word. Oh, Thank You, Lord, for your gentle care!

Testimony from: Latrinia
This is my second attempt today. The first time I was near the end of my testimony when the power went out in the house. I said to the devil you are a lie...I will tell my story and you will not stop me. So, here it is...I am now out of the hospital after a two week stay. Over the past four months my health was going fast. I had lost nearly 50 lbs, my eyesight was blurred, my left leg was numb, I had major sinus allergy issues, blah... blah... blah.

I did not understand what was going on. My doctor simply stated that I was getting older and arthritis was setting in. But I knew that something was wrong. I remember a quiet voice stating to me,"I have work for you." As I prayed one day I stated,"You told me that you have work for me to do! But, how am I to do it with all that is going on with me?"

Two weeks after that my leg was fine. Then the voice said,"go home." So I did without question. I quit my job and called my mother and said I cannot do this anymore, I am not well. You see I had lost my strength and willingness to live. I could barely get out of bed and I was getting worse. I moved back to Texas and began to see a doctor right away. Within 3 weeks my weight dropped from 147 to 101lbs. The doctor quickly put me in the hospital.

I was seen by the following specialists:lung, cancer, gastrointestinal, internal medicine, radiology, surgeons and several others. I watched as each of them shook and scratched their heads trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I had countless biopsies...no cancer or lymphomas, which was excellent news, but still no diagnosis. Through all of this I held on to my faith, knowing what things looked like was not how they were.

On the day that I was scheduled for an open exploratory surgery and was given a 50/50 chance, cysts and lesions had developed in my lungs near my heart, stomach and liver. Finally after 2 weeks I got a diagnosis from a simple biopsy that was done over my eye.

But let me tell the BEST news...through all of this I found out what my special purpose was...it is to educate those that I come in contact with, the TRUTH about our Lord and Savior. I was able to tell everyone who entered my room who my healer is and how easy it is to walk in His presence. I am his, I chose... and my job is to tell his story to help bring people to him.

He allows us to go through some things and afterward you are a new being. I am now on medication and resting everyday to regain my strength. He brought me through with a new outlook and a reason for living.

We must always trust in the Lord and have faith. He will make a way for me and you. If the Lord can bring me back from this he will do the same for you. I am on the way to recovery, and as of today I have gained 4lbs,(I am now in the triple digits). JUST BELIEVE.

Testimony from: Cherokee
Latrinia is well on her way to recovery. I submitted a prayer for her and her healing is on it's way. The doctors found the cause of her problems and she is on a regimen of medicine. The Lord has started her healing process and I am confident that she is on her way to recovery. Please remember that the Lord is a healer, a clear and present help in times of trouble. Don't ever give up on God. It's never over, until it's over. It is never as bad as it looks. We walk by faith and not by sight.

Testimony from: Cherokee Thompson
I have had many trials in life and the Lord has delivered me. My childhood was emotionally challenging and self esteem was hard. School was hard as a result of what was going on at home. "If your child is having problems at school you may need to look inside your home FIRST."

When I had questions about life I picked up the bible. I did not have a complete understanding of what I was reading but, I continue anyway. It's all about a personal relationship with the Lord, try him for yourself. When you get sick he will heal you, when you are afraid he will give you courage, when you are lonely he will comfort you.

His way is not our way but his way is the best way. Let go let God...you won't regret it. To know him truly is to love him.

Testimony from: Debbie, Donna
I have been praying for years my sister & nephew Brendan would move back to Tx, well the Lord answered that prayer in Sept of last year.
Now he has blessed us with a home of our own, I just want to say thank you Jesus for your faithfulness.
Thank you for your Mercy, and Love for us, and our salvation that cost you dearly.
Thank you, Jesus, that you loved us in spite of ourselves-- knowing what you do about each of us.
