April 11, 2008 Testimony from: The request for Shirley All,
I just received a report back regarding the prayer request we received for Shirley -- and the cancer that the dr's said she had... KEY WORD HAD!
MD Anderson in Houston, after two different rounds of testing, has said that they were not able to find any cancer in her body!
Thank you, Father, for your great care and answers to our prayers! Thank you for the children's bread being ours -- for truly healing is the children's bread!
Amen! Give a SHOUT of triumph!
March 4, 2008 Testimony from: Grant I put in a request for Grant, asking for prayer. He is my nephew, a young man that was walking into places of destruction -drugs, trouble with authority, etc.
Praise the Lord! Grant is now making great strides. He is dating a christian young lady and going to church. He is turning his eyes toward a future and a hope and we are son thankful! Thank you for praying for our nephew. We are very blessed to have such prayer partners.
January 24, 2008 Testimony from: The request for Erica I just wanted to let you know that the situation with Erica went from imminent firing to everything being just fine. Nothing was said about the documents in question and she got her work caught up to where it is supposed to be. Some changes are on the horizon, and I pray they will be good ones for her, and it does look like that is the case. She is no longer in danger of losing her job though. Thanks for all of your prayers!
January 24, 2008 Testimony from: Another great report from Carol and Tim Hello everybody. Another praise report for prayers that have been answered! My husband Tim, who has been out of work basically for two years because of the brain tumors, was notified this morning that he has a job and can start on Monday. I had already told a few people that he had the job but found out this morning that I was a little premature. The final word came about 30 minutes ago. He will be part time for his first 3 months and then will be able to get full benefits - then he will no longer be on disability!!!!
Tim had worked some during holidays at the local Walmart stocking shelves and was happy to be back at work. He didn't really mind that this was not in his field but was rejoicing. In his new job he will be a forklift operator in the warehouse for a local trucking company. He has previous forklift experience and is still certified to operate a lift.
Thank you God!! and Thanks to all of Vine3 for your constant prayers through it all!
Carol
January 19, 2008 Testimony from: Praises for God's care for our concerns! I just wanted to give all a quick praise update regarding the family members I recently held up for prayer.
Uncle Chip is now in rehab following his 2 strokes. His speech and mobility are doing better. His doctors now need to see if he will go to assisted living or be able to go back home once he has completed rehab.
Aunt Carolyn's surgery went very well. They removed the tumor from her spine and fused 1 of the broken vertebra. She is to be released from the hospital today. In 3 weeks she will start chemo and will also have a physical therapist come to her home a couple times a week. She has progressed much faster than the doctors expected. They are very optomistic about her recovery.
Uncle Roy will have his prostate biopsy in February as a precautionary measure but for now he is not as concerned about this issue for him.
Praise God for all of these blessings! Thank you for your prayers.
Carol (North Carolina)
