I am thankful that I lived long enough to understand that the Lord is good...for real.
I am so thankful for my forefathers that laid the foundation before me and set the tone.
I thankful and reminded of the sincere faith that lived in my great grandmother Savannah, my grandmother Elnora(Anna) and my mother Emma. I am now persuaded as a result that same faith lives in me also.
I am thankful for the gift of God through the laying of hands, for God did not give us the spirit of fear but a spirit of power.
I am thankful that God's grace is sufficient and my suffering for the gospel comes by the power of God who saved us and called to a holy life. Not by anything that we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.
I am thankful that the Lord is teaching me not be so hard on myself and to learn how to love myself as I have learned to love others.
